Here's the link to my brand-new digital portfolio!
As usual, I seem unable to do things the easy way! I've been meaning to get a portfolio together so I had to find the perfect tool - something that would work in the long run, not just for an assignment here or there.
After looking around I settled on PortfolioGen. Let me know what you think - feedback is welcome.
I decided to go all in - projects, photos, videos, etc. In fact, I have a list of items to add. Ultimately I hope to organize it by grade level, and subject area for the co-curricular areas.
I think I'm through the hardest part, which was finding the right tool and deciding on a tone. It may be a little informal, but for the age group I work with it seemed appropriate.
Now that my portfolio is well underway, I'm not quite sure who I'll be sharing it with. But I'm sure it will come in handy as a quick way to share my work. Also, I can relate a little better to creating student portfolios. As interest increases in student portfolios for elementary students I'll be ready to assist my colleagues with how to go about such an endeavor.
Until then, I'll keep working on mine. The pictures need a little work...especially the profile picture...
